God’s timing is always perfect, though it often doesn’t align with our expectations. We live in a world that values speed - instant gratification, quick fixes, and fast results. But God’s timing isn’t rushed -  it’s deliberate and filled with purpose. Ecclesiastes 3:11 reminds us, “He has made everything beautiful in its time.”

When we face delays, it can be easy to question God’s plans. Why does He allow waiting? Why does He seem silent at times? But God, in His wisdom, sees the bigger picture. He knows the perfect moment for everything to unfold in our lives. His timing ensures that we are prepared, and that His will is accomplished in ways we couldn’t have imagined.

Consider the life of Jesus. In John 7:6, He says, “My time has not yet come.” Jesus understood God’s divine timetable. There was a specific moment for His ministry, and He walked in obedience to it.

As we trust in God’s timing, we can rest in the assurance that He is never late. He is always on time, orchestrating our lives with a love and wisdom beyond our understanding. In our waiting, let us remember that His timing is perfect, and His plans for us are always good.

Evangelism is at the heart of the Great Commission in Matthew 28. Jesus calls us to share the life-changing message of the Gospel with others, making disciples of all nations. This command is for every believer. We are all called to be witnesses of Christ's love, grace, and salvation.

In the busy pace of life it can be easy to forget the urgency of evangelism. However, sharing the Gospel isn't just a task -  it’s an invitation for others to experience eternal life through Jesus. Each conversation, each moment spent showing kindness and sharing truth, can be an opportunity for someone to encounter Christ.

When we share our faith, we don't do it alone. Jesus promises, “I am with you always.” His presence strengthens and guides us as we step out in faith. Whether it’s through words, actions, or love, we are called to reflect Christ in every area of our lives.

Let us be bold, remembering that our mission is a divine one, and God equips us with the power to fulfill it. What will be the next small step we can take in sharing the Gospel with the lost around us?

Psalm 8 beautifully reflects on the majesty of God’s creation and our unique place within it. The psalmist begins by declaring, “O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!”. When we pause and look at the world around us — the stars, the mountains, the oceans — we are reminded of the greatness of our Creator. But Psalm 8 also reminds us of something incredible: despite God’s grandeur, He chose to place humanity at the pinnacle of creation.

David wonders, “What is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?”. Yet, in His love, God gave us dominion over the works of His hands and crowned us with glory and honour.

As Christians, we are called to reflect this glory in our lives. We are made in God’s image, not by accident, but with purpose. Our purpose is to bring honour to Him and to reflect His love and majesty in all we do. In moments of doubt, when we feel insignificant, remember that the Creator of the universe sees you, loves you, and has given you a vital role in His kingdom. Take comfort in this: you are deeply cherished by God.

In the book of Philippians Paul says to "Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!" It seems a little strange that someone in prison would be telling a church to rejoice!

But Paul's attitude teaches us an important lesson: our inner attitudes do not have to reflect our outward circumstances. Paul was full of joy because he knew that no matter what happened to him, Jesus Christ was with him. Several times Paul urged the Philippians to be joyful, probably because they needed to hear this. It's easy to get discouraged about unpleasant circumstances or to take unimportant events too seriously. If we haven't been joyful lately, we may not be looking at life from the right perspective.

Ultimate joy comes from Christ dwelling in us. Christ is near and at His second coming we will fully realise this ultimate joy. He who lives within us will fulfill His final purposes for us.
