Reconciliation is at the heart of the Christian faith. Through Jesus Christ, God bridged the infinite gap between His holiness and our sinfulness, restoring a relationship we could never repair on our own. This was a total transformation - enemies of God becoming His children.

When we receive this gift, we’re also entrusted with a mission - to be agents of reconciliation in our relationships. Whether it’s with family, friends, or even enemies, we are called to extend the same grace we’ve been given. This doesn’t mean ignoring pain or injustice, but it does mean choosing forgiveness over bitterness, humility over pride, and love over division.

Reconciliation is rarely easy. It takes courage, patience, faith and mostly prayer! But every time we pursue peace, we reflect Christ’s work in us. And in doing so, we help reveal the Kingdom of God to a hurting world.

Perhaps today we need to ask the Lord - Is there someone I need to forgive? Let us let God have His reconciling love flow through us.

One of the greatest blessings God gives us is the church family -  a spiritual home where we are known, loved, and supported. As believers, we are not meant to walk alone. We are part of something much bigger - the Body of Christ. Each of us has a unique role, and when we come together in love and unity, we reflect God's heart to the world.

The church family celebrates with us in joy, weeps with us in sorrow and stands with us in prayer. It’s a place where we grow, serve, and are held accountable. Through relationships in the church we experience grace, forgiveness and the sharpening that comes from walking with other believers.

Though no church is perfect, God uses imperfect people to carry out His perfect plan. When we commit to a local body of believers we grow deeper in our faith and stronger in our witness. Let us thank God for the gift of church family and continue to grow in loving, serving and supporting one another as brothers and sisters in Christ as we continue on the mission He has called each of us to be a part of.

“He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay” – Matthew 28:6

Resurrection Sunday is the heartbeat of our faith. It’s more than a moment in history - it’s the declaration that death no longer has the final word. On this day, we celebrate the empty tomb, the risen Saviour, and the eternal hope that comes with both.

Jesus didn’t just conquer the grave - He shattered the power of sin, fear, and despair. His resurrection is a promise to us - that the same power that raised Him from the dead is at work in our lives (Romans 8:11). Whatever troubles we face, there is always a dawn, always a stone rolled away. Because Jesus lives, we can face tomorrow. Because Jesus lives, we are never alone.

Let us take a moment this Resurrection Sunday to reflect and ask the question - what area of our life needs resurrection? Where do we need to allow Jesus to bring something back to life?

He is risen! He is risen indeed!

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I wish I knew the future so I could better prepare for it! God has chosen not to give us this knowledge. He alone knows what will happen, but He does tell us what we need to know to prepare for the future. When we live by His standards, He will not leave us. He will come to us, He will be in us and He will show Himself to us. God knows what will happen and, because He will be with us through it all, we need not fear. We don’t have to know the future to have faith in God, but we do have to have faith in God to be secure about the future.

In uncertain times, it’s easy to feel anxious about the future. But as believers, we are called to trust God with our tomorrows. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to "trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." God's plan for us is good, even when we can’t see the way forward. Remember that He holds the future in His hands, and He works all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). Let go of worry and surrender your future to Him, trusting that He will guide you every step of the way.
