Welcome to our service today. It is great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for tea and coffee.
Tonight as I write this I feel absolutely exhausted but utterly fulfilled! Tonight as I write this we rejoice that 7 children from God's Warriors asked Jesus to be Lord of their life. They will never be the same! Their lives have been changed eternally. Praise God!
I am so aware though that the physical team that serve at God's Warriors are just a part of what happened tonight - and what a team they are! But you are all a part of the team for you have been faithfully praying - the foundation upon which any of our ministries are built. And you have been baking - filling the tummies of young children who love the supper we have. And you have been encouraging us and spurring us on. As a church we are a Body and we cannot do without any part - not the arms, not the legs, not the eyes.......not any part. So I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart - and to give God ALL the glory for His faithfulness and for His transforming love that He freely pours out upon us forever.
With love & blessings,
Sandra

Many diseases of both body and mind are self-inflicted. For example, ulcers are often caused by worry and anxiety. Heart attacks are caused many times by overexertion. Unjustified worry, fear, prejudice, hatred, and envy can contribute to mental stress, which can lead to mental illness. So one way to have a healthy mind is to avoid these practices. But the Bible’s way to a healthy mind is this, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” If you have the mind of Christ, worry will be offset by trust, hate by love, and fear by faith.
If you are struggling with this today, ask the Lord for help and pray this prayer “Fears sometimes seem as if they would overwhelm me, Lord Jesus, but then I remember Your gift of power, love, and a healthy mind. Thank You for the promise of healing and love, as I keep my mind on You. Amen”

To "walk as Jesus did" or living as Christ did, doesn't mean choosing 12 disciples, performing great miracles and being crucified! We cannot merely copy Christ's life - much of what Jesus did had to do with His identity as God's Son, the fulfilment of His special role in dying for sin, and the cultural context of the first century Roman world. To walk today as Christ did we must obey His teachings and follow His example of complete obedience to God and loving service to people.
On another note, camp is looming quickly! We would love to have as many as possible come and join with us, whether it be for the whole weekend or the day on Saturday. Camp is a great way to get to know the church family in a deeper way and it's always full of great fellowship, food and ministry. So get those registration forms back to me quickly!

Welcome to our service today. It is great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for tea and coffee. Many in the world today view the Bible as outdated and not relevant in this present age. But we know that the Word of God is not simply a collection of words from Him or a way for Him to communicate ideas - but it is living, life changing and dynamic as it works in us. With the incisiveness of a very sharp knife, God's Word reveals who we are and what we are not. It penetrates the core of our moral and spiritual life. It discerns what is within us, both good and not so good! The demands of God's Word require us to make decisions - we must not only listen to the Word but we must also let it shape our lives. Sometimes this is easy and other times it is painful but ultimately it is for our benefit. Are you letting the Word of God shape your life today? With love & blessings, Sandra
