We stand amazed at the power of the earth to shake our foundations. Whether it shakes us to the core is dependant on whether our security is deeper than the physical world around us. At times like this we have more than hope that our security in God is more tangible and real than even the earth we stand upon. It is good to reflect in this reality often. When the ground stops moving will we be inclined to turn away from this reality, or continue to consolidate this foundation? What could we really achieve if our faith tested at this time returns stronger for some new reality in Christ?

As part of my training I was supposed to have done a Spiritual Formation paper which outlines the basics of the path from first principles of the faith. Paul speaks in Philippians of the process of our spiritual birth growth & formation.I am still getting a sense that we as a church need to be humble before God as I will outline today also. Another reminder & encouragement for you to be part of the life groups listed in the middle of the newsletter.
